Alison Bailey for Ward 4 Trustee
ALISON'S BACKGROUND
Alison Bailey is a proud Ward 4 resident. She is a single mother and a retired 64-year-old administrator who brings 40 years of business acumen from both the public and private sectors.
Alison has experience as a financial analyst, policy maker, project manager, researcher and writer and is known for her ‘outside-the-box’ thinking.
As a single mother, she was able to purchase her own home and put her child through university without incurring any debt. Alison knows how to get more value for her dollar.
As a retired person, she can dedicate as much time as necessary to ensure she accomplishes the goals and objectives of the Trustee position.

a Girl Guide Leader

a member and then Chair of the Delta Secondary School Parent Council

a member of the transitional team when Delta was closing, and students were transitioning to Bernie Custis

a member of the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board’s Parent Advisory Committee (now the Parent Involvement Committee)
